Working on a 2D animated advert for Guinness World Records was a truly exciting and prestigious project for Cass Productions. Guinness World Records is one of the most well-known and iconic brands worldwide, recognized by millions of people across the globe. Their books have been read by over 150 million people in more than 100 countries, making their brand synonymous with extraordinary achievements and remarkable human stories.
Our role was to bring this incredible legacy to life through a 2D animated advert, combining creativity, storytelling, and technical expertise to produce an engaging and versatile advert. We were privileged to work closely with footage provided by real record breakers themselves. This authentic footage added a powerful narrative element to the animation, helping us showcase genuine moments of achievement and excitement.
To complement this footage, we collaborated with the talented artist Rod Hunt, whose unique animated artwork style added a dynamic and visually captivating layer to the advert. Alongside Rod’s artistic contributions, our in-house animation team crafted special character designs to bring the story to life. These characters helped create a connection with the audience, making the advert memorable and relatable.
One of the key deliverables of the project was a fully adaptable package of animation files. We created a flexible template that allowed Guinness World Records to customise the advert easily.
