We successfully tendered to produce these 2 animations for NHS Blood and Transplant to explain the differences between different blood types. Working closely with their communications team, we came up with the concept and scripts, with the aim of disseminating complex information in an accessible format. Our in-house illustration and animation team created all of the characters and backgrounds and brought them to life using Adobe After-FX. NHS Blood and Transplant provide a blood and transplantation service to the NHS, looking after blood donation services in England and transplant services across the UK. This includes managing the donation, storage and transplantation of blood, organs, tissues, bone marrow and stem cells, and researching new treatments and processes. Every year, NHS Blood and Transplant collect over 2 million voluntary blood donations, prepares them for use and distributes them to hospitals throughout England.
