Case Study Video Production – Telling Real Stories That Inspire Action
At Cass Productions, we believe that case study video production is one of the most effective and rewarding types of content we create. Why? Because it gives us the opportunity to meet inspiring people, discover incredible businesses, and help our clients tell meaningful stories that connect with audiences.
We’ve been producing case study videos for organisations like the British Business Bank and the Start Up Loans Company for nearly a decade. These videos are designed to showcase the real impact of funding and support programmes on small businesses across the UK.
Long-Term Video Partnerships That Deliver Results
Our work in case study video production goes beyond just filming interviews. We manage the entire process, from pre-production planning and scripting to filming, editing, and distribution-ready delivery.
The content we produce is used across platforms including:
YouTube
Twitter/X
LinkedIn
Instagram
Facebook
This multi-platform approach ensures that each video reaches the widest possible audience and serves both brand awareness and engagement goals for our clients.
Case Study Highlight: Dryad
One of our favourite projects in recent years has been working with Dryad, an outdoor women’s sportswear company based in Brecon, Wales. Founded in 2019, Dryad is an eco-conscious, community-focused brand that supports women’s participation in sport at all levels.
Dryad accessed funding through the Start Up Loans Company, and we were commissioned to produce a case study video that highlighted their journey, mission, and the impact of that funding.
The production involved:
On-location filming in Wales
Aerial footage by one of our licensed drone operators
Interviews with the founders
B-roll of product testing and behind-the-scenes work
Editing and final delivery in various aspect ratios for social platforms
In addition to video, we also provided professional photography, offering a cohesive set of visuals for Dryad’s marketing and press use.
Our Approach to Case Study Video Production
Each case study video production begins with discovery, understanding the story you want to tell and the audience you need to reach.
We handle:
Pre-production planning – including location logistics, interview prep, and creative brief
Filming – capturing high-quality footage using cinema-grade cameras, drones, and audio equipment
Post-production – editing, colour grading, motion graphics, and subtitling for accessibility
Social optimisation – delivering videos in formats suitable for feed, story, or ad placements
Many of our videos also include split-screen interviews, text overlays, and animated intros/outros to ensure consistency with the client’s branding and tone of voice.
Versatility Across Industries
Although we’ve worked extensively in finance and startup support, our case study video production services are ideal for a wide range of sectors, including:
Education and training
Healthcare and public services
Retail and eCommerce
Sustainability and social enterprise
Construction and architecture
Our goal is to showcase real outcomes, real people, and real value, turning success stories into compelling, trust-building media assets.
Other Businesses We’ve Featured
In addition to Dryad, we’ve produced case studies for:
BakedIn – a DIY baking subscription company
Miss Macaroon – a social enterprise offering work opportunities to young people
NQ64 – a retro gaming and bar experience expanding across the UK
Each of these films captures the personality of the brand while communicating their growth, innovation, and journey with clarity and emotion.
